Patrick L. Doland, president of Northbrook based Reason Financial Advisors, Inc., was recently elected to the board of directors of the Financial Planning Association of Illinois, North Shore Council. The North Shore Council is a member of the state chapter of the Financial Planning Association and provides continuing education to financial planners in northern Cook County and all of Lake County.
The Financial Planning Association (FPA) is the largest professional membership organization dedicated to supporting the financial planning process. Members provide objective advice and assist individuals in achieving their goals and objectives. The FPA encourages those seeking a financial planner to use a CFP® professional.
Doland, a Northbrook resident, received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Upper Iowa University and an MBA from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University. He is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER ™ Practitioner and a NAPFA Registered Financial Advisor. Doland provides fee only services in areas including investment management, retirement planning, estate planning, risk management, income tax planning and education planning.
