George H. Moloney III, vice-president and manager of Koenig and Strey Insurance Agency in Wilmette will be the guest this month on the cable access show Financial Solutions that airs in numerous northern Cook County and southern Lake County communities in Illinois. Moloney marks the fourth generation of his family in the insurance business. He entered the industry in 1974 while attending New Mexico State University and graduated in 1975 with a BBA in Finance.
After graduation, Moloney returned to Illinois to join the family business and in 1999 he joined the Koenig & Strey Insurance Agency, part of the nationally recognized real estate firm, Koenig & Strey / GMAC Real Estate. The agency was formed in 1972 and has specialized in homeowners and automobile insurance. He also graduated from the Life Insurance Marketing Institute at Purdue University.
In addition, Moloney has served as Music Vice President of The New Tradition - a 160 member singing organization that has competed at the international competition level. He has served on the board of directors of the Alliance for Better Education in Lake Bluff and for many years as a coach for the American Youth Soccer Organization and the Lake Bluff Baseball Association.
Moloney will answer insurance questions relating to homeowners and automobile coverage including the proper amount of liability coverage, how to keep premiums from rising, and special issues relating to mold coverage.
The show will air on Comcast cable once a week at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday’s for the entire month of March. The program reaches 105,000 subscribers on channel 35 in Arlington Heights, Bartlett, Des Plaines, Glenview, Golf, Hanover Park, Mt. Prospect, Northbrook, Park Ridge, Prospect Heights, Schaumburg, Skokie, Streamwood and Wheeling. The show will also be broadcast on Channel 19 at the same time to 120,000 subscribers in Buffalo Grove, Elk Grove Village, Hoffman Estates, Lincolnwood, Morton Grove, Niles, Northfield, Palatine, Rolling Meadows and Wilmette.
